I bought a few for my earthquake supplies. Tonight I wanted cornbread with my dinner. So I decided to try this cornbread instead of baking. It was fantastic! Good corn flavor, slightly sweet and moist. The portion size was perfect to go with a meal. I will definitely buy more, both for my emergency supply and lazy nights.

Not bad.

I'm trying numerous items in an effort to choose tasty items for my earthquake prep.
These were just okay. I tried it plain and as soon as I opened the package, the yummy aroma of corn was overwhelming. It wasn't too dry but it was way too sweet for me. Maybe if this were eaten with a spicy food like chili, it wouldn't seem so sweet. And it probably would be very tasty lightly warmed with a bit of butter.

{Response from Emergency Essentials - MRE's are indeed a great choice for emergency foods. They have such familiar tastes and aromas that we find them easy to use, even for everything eating. It's great to have those kinds of options for emergencies too}
