Not bad...

These were just okay. I'm trying numerous items in an effort to choose tasty items for my earthquake prep.
There is no frosting, which I suppose makes sense but it just feels like it's missing something without the sugary frosting. The pastry/bread portion is a bit dry, not bad but not my favorite. The filling (cinnamon) part was very tasty and not overly sweet. It was good and there will be a couple of these in my EQ food stash but not good enough for tons of them.

{Response from Emergency Essentials - MRE's are indeed a great choice for emergency foods. They have such familiar tastes and aromas that we find them easy to use, even for everything eating. It's great to have those kinds of options for emergencies too}

Taste Great heated

I thought the cinnamon bun was very Good. When I heated the meal I also heated the cinnamon bun. I first opened it and expected a yummy topping but even though it didn't have a topping it was Very Yummy. I don't like canned food and I am a good cook so i was surprised to like everything in the MRE like the chili Mac, Bread, PB&J, Cinnamon Bun, and the drink. I didn't care for the applesauce, it had the consistency of baby food. I rated it a 4 because a fresh cinnabun would have been better but for a packaged and potentially 5 year old bun in an emergency I have it give it a 4.

Not bad!

These aren't bad at all. Of course they're not as good as a cinnamon bun from the bakery, but for something you can leave in your car or emergency kit for a couple years and it still taste like this, you can't beat it! Great for breakfast while camping or a quick snack. I do emergency response work and disaster relief and these will definitely be in my pack in case I need a snack!
