Freeze Dried Roast Beef (Reconstituted)

Vegetable Oil

Worchestershire Sauce
1 Clove
Garlic, Peeled
1 or 2
Bay Leaves
1/2 C
Dehydrated Onion (reconstituted)
1 tsp
1 tsp
1/2 tsp
1/2 tsp
1 1/2 C
Dehydrated Carrots (Reconstituted)
2 C
Freeze Dried Tomato Chunks (Reconstituted)
1/2 C
Freeze Dried Green Pepper (Reconstituted)
1 C
Freeze Dried Celery (Reconstituted)
1 Tbsp


1. Heat meat in hot oil. Add water, worchestershire sauce, garlic, bay leaves, onion, green pepper, salt, sugar, pepper, and paprika. Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours.

2. Remove bay leaves and garlic clove. Add carrots and celery. Cover and cook 30-40 minutes.

3. To thicken gravy, remove 2 cups of hot liquid.

4. Using a separate bowl, combine 1/4 cup water and cornstarch until smooth. Mix with a little hot liquid and return to mixture to pot.

5. Stir and cook until bubbly.
