Whole Wheat Banana Bread Recipe

INGREDIENTS

2 C
Whole Wheat Flour
1 tsp
Baking Powder
1 tsp
Baking Soda
1/4 tsp
Salt
1/2 C
Butter
3/4 C
Brown Sugar
1 Tbsp
Dehydrated Egg White
1 1/4 C
Mashed Freeze Dried Banana Slices
1/4 C
Plain Yogurt
1/2 C
Walnuts

PREPARATION

1. Reconstitute bananas, drain excess water; Mash bananas with a potato masher or back of a fork.

2. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a loaf pan.

3. Into a small bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda. Set aside.

4. In another bowl, add butter, sugar and cream together.

5. Beat in egg white, then add bananas and yogurt; Beat.

6. Add dry mixture and mix until well-blended.

7. Transfer batter to loaf pan.

8. Set oven rack below center of oven and bake 55 minutes.

9. Let stand 10 minutes before removing from loaf pan to cool.
