Old-fashioned Vegetable Soup Recipe


1/2 C
Freeze Dried Onion
1/2 C
Freeze Dried Celery
1/2 C
Freeze Dried Green Beans
1/2 C
Freeze Dried Broccoli
1 C
Dehydrated Carrot
2 C
Freeze Dried Tomato Chunks
1/2 C
Freeze Dried Corn
1 C
Freeze Dried Potato Dices
10 C
1 Tbsp
Vegetarian Beef Flavored Broth
1/2 C
Rice or Macaroni


1. Place all ingredients in a large kettle and simmer 10 minutes.

2. Add beef bouillion.

3. Simmer another 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender.

Made this recipe following directions as much as possible. I used stewed tomatoes as I didn't have fresh or FD. Added orzo and garbanzo beans. The 1 tbls of beef broth must have been a typo since I needed to add about 7 more tbls to give the soup some flavor. The can of vegetarian beef broth says to use 1tbls per cup of hot water and the recipe has 10 cups of water. In the end it was very good.

Love this stuff! Its so soupy and delish. It's really old fashion and full of vegetables!
