Immigrant Cheese Soup Recipe

INGREDIENTS

1/2 C
Freeze Dried Potato Slices
1/2 C
Dehydrated Carrot
1/4 C
Freeze Dried Celery
1/4 C
Freeze Dried Green Onion
1/2 Tbsp
Butter or Clarified Butter
1/4 C
Flour
2 C
Dehydrated Fat-Free Milk (1/3 Cup Powder + 2 Cups Water)
1 1/2 C
Dehydrated Chicken Broth
1 1/2 C
Freeze Dried Cheddar Cheese

PREPARATION

1. If using dried foods, reconstitute first by adding warm water and allowing then to soften and drain excess water.

2. Cook vegetables in butter until tender.

3.Pour flour into vegetables mixture and stir.

4. Add the milk and broth. Cook until thick and bubbly, then add cheese. Remove from heat and stir until melted.
