A solid entry in the dessert lineup

Carrot cake is generally a safe bet, provided you don't ruin it by adding raisins. This, thankfully, has no raisins. Everyone liked it. It had orange things that I am assuming were carrot bits, and it had a good texture for something that can be stored for years. It may not raise to the level of, say, a Filled French Toast or Apple Turnover, I place it in the category of morale booster.

spiced cake with hints of carrot

Had this last night with coffee, it's a slightly spicy carrot cake. Most but crumbly, no fork needed, and a really nice entry into emergency food and how it tastes. So glad there was a sale as I've gotten a lot to try out. I can already see ordering more of this and the apple turnover ones.
