Mountain House Pilot Crackers on SALE

March 19, 2013

“I've recently begun some serious RV camping and decided to include FD (freeze dried) foods for emergencies.  I have had experience with MREs and have never been overly impressed with their flavor.  These crackers may not be Ritz or Keebler but they definitely beat out any generic brand I've ever tasted.  And compared to the baked pumice passed off as bread in an MRE kit, it's like a piece of heaven.  They are about twice the size of a normal Ritz and hold together very well.” – Jon, Virginia

Thanks for the feedback Jon! We want to let you know that you can get Pilot Crackers as part of the Mountain House sale on #10 cans. All Mountain House #10 cans are 20% off, so the Pilot Crackers cost $16.23. If you buy six or more cans of the same item, we’ll give you 25% off!

Pilot Crackers descend from hardtack, that infamous staple of adventurers on land and sea. The modern pilot cracker is a great deal tastier (and easier to bite into) but still has its ancestor’s characteristics. It’s hearty, sturdy, and versatile. We’ve used Pilot Crackers to highlight our Super Bowl dips, as the crust for our Peanut Butter Pie, and as a side with our Pearled Barley and Ground Beef Soup.

Each #10 can contains approximately 70 crackers and one cracker is one serving.

Pick up a few cans of Pilot Crackers during our current sale. You’ll be glad you did!
