Basil Butter Garlic Spread Recipe

Yields: 1/3 Cup Butter


1/4 cups
Red Feather Butter
1/4 tsp
MyChoice Basil Leaves
1/4 tsp
MyChoice Mediterranean Oregano
1 tsp
MyChoice Minced Garlic
MycChoice Freeze Dried Green Onions, reconstituted
2 pinches
MyChoice Iodized Salt to taste
1 pinch
MyChoice 28 Mesh Black Pepper to taste
Olive Oil
2 cups
Provident Pantry Honey White Bread, Roll, and Scone Mix (optional)
1 1/2 cup
MyChoice Mozzarella Cheese, reconstituted (optional)


  1. Reconstitute green onions, drain.
  2. Combine all ingredients (except the bread mix and cheese) into a small mixing bowl; beat until smooth.

  3. Optional:
    To make Basil Garlic Bread, bake a loaf of bread according to package directions for the Provident Pantry Honey White Bread, Roll, and Scone Mix. Slice the bread into even slices and coat each side of the slices with butter. Put slices back together as a loaf and wrap in aluminum foil. Bake at 400 for 10 minutes. Separate slices and add cheese to each slice. Return them to the oven until the cheese is melted, bubbly and starting to brown. (You may need to turn up the heat a little bit). Enjoy!
