    Bug out/Go bags

After the fiasco that was Katrina and the sudden winter storm this year, my wife and I have decided to make "GO" bags and "Work" bags. Each bag is to have sufficient items to survive for 3 days (Work) and one week (GO).

My fellow deputies and I tried this product and found that it was good. The packaging is very great. We all were a little apprehensive about eating it. We broke open a bag and found that it was tasty and when we drank 2 oz of water, we found our selves to be full. We will be recommending and ordering more.

    not bad at all

With a five year shelf life these are a excellent alternative to expensive freeze dried cans or MREs. Best yet my wife will actually eat one. Tastes like a shortbread cookie with a slight coconut flavor.

Get some, it is cheep insurance.

A must have in your 72 hour kit or car. Lite weight not temperature sensitive a long shelf life. The packs I recieved were subdivided in individual rations and the taste (for survival food) was not too bad. It is much easier to carry then 3 days worth of MRE'S. So for an emergency this is better than foraging for grubs or worse, like not having anything to eat when you need it most.

    A good choice

I sampled all 3 types of bar, and this came in 2nd, just behind Mainstay. Good taste and sturdy packaging.
